Ray Morgan – Director & Senior Project Manager

As director and senior project manager at Compass, Ray has over 30 years of strong, disciplined project management experience across retail, leisure, health and commercial property.

Before founding Compass Project Management, Ray was the National Project Manager for Stockland Property Trust – Shopping Centre division, responsible for the implementation of procurement strategies for the portfolio ($700m); Ray had direct input into the following Stockland Shopping Centre developments: Burleigh Heads, Bay Village, Merrylands, Forster, Bateman’s Bay and Bathurst City Centre. In this role, Ray also managed the implementation of tenancy design and coordination into the projects, liaising with the key stakeholders in providing teams to bring about the transition from construction project to trading centre.

Prior to being appointed as a National Project Manager, Ray worked as a Project Manager for Westfield Development on the retail redevelopment of Westfield Marion and Tea Tree Plaza – Adelaide( SA), Carousel – Perth (WA), Fountain Gate – Melbourne (VIC) , Bondi Junction – Sydney (NSW) and the United Kingdom Head Offices over viewing the development project management of 7no prospective projects ($1.3b).

The remainder of Rays experience was attained through his employment with John Laing Construction (UK) where he worked on major projects in the following sectors; Retail, Hotel / Leisure; Health (Laboratory and Hospital New Build); and Commercial.
